You approve the products before anything is imported
This recording moves five simple products between two demo shops, including a sale item and a product with zero stock. The original product words are kept, with HTML formatting converted to readable paragraphs. Photos are copied into ShopVirge. Existing matching products are skipped, not overwritten.

Questions about switching
Does this move my entire shop?
The assistant transfers your product catalog: descriptions, prices, stock, categories and photos. We also plan the rest of your switch with you, including customer accounts, order history, your domain, payments, shipping and redirects from old links. Those are separate from transferring the products.
Will this work with my product range?
Yes. We tailor the move to the products you sell. Bring your WooCommerce product file so we can look at how you organise your range, including sizes, colours, categories and VAT. Together we make sure those details find the right place in your ShopVirge shop.
Do I have to rewrite my product descriptions?
No. Your existing product names and descriptions come with you. The assistant turns the formatting from WooCommerce into readable text, so you do not have to copy and paste each listing. You can check the descriptions and make changes before approving the transfer.
What happens to prices, sale prices and stock?
The assistant brings these details across with the products. In the preview, you check the prices including VAT, sale prices and stock before approving. The recording includes both a sale item and an out-of-stock product, so you can see how they appear in ShopVirge.
Do my photos come with me?
Yes. The photos are copied to ShopVirge, so your new product pages do not have to keep loading them from WooCommerce. You can check that each photo belongs to the right product. Keep your old shop accessible until the transfer of your data and photos is complete.
What if some products are already in ShopVirge?
Matching products are skipped rather than overwritten, so the assistant does not simply replace the work you have already done. Check the transfer report to see which products were added or skipped, and we can look at any remaining items together.
Can I check everything before the transfer?
Yes. Upload the product export and ask the assistant to prepare a preview. Check the descriptions, prices, stock, categories and photos, and request corrections where needed. Only after you approve does the assistant transfer the products to ShopVirge.
Can I keep selling while I prepare the switch?
Keep your current WooCommerce shop running while we prepare and check the new one. Agree a moment for the final switch and bring any stock or product changes made since the export up to date. We plan the domain, payments, shipping and old product links with you before that switch.
Who looks after my shop once I have switched?
ShopVirge handles hosting, updates and system monitoring. You manage your products and sales without having to maintain a WordPress installation and its plug-ins yourself. You can still use the assistant for day-to-day product work after the move.
Will it be as fast as the recording?
Typing and processing are sped up, and waiting between steps is shortened. The export, preview, approval and resulting products are real actions recorded in demo shops. The time comparison describes your hands-on work: upload, ask, check and approve. The assistant does the repetitive copying, so the benefit grows with the job.
Do I need technical skills for this?
No. Use WooCommerce’s export feature to get your product file, then explain in everyday language what you want to move. We set up the connection to your ShopVirge shop. The recording shows how it works.
Can I use my own AI agent, or Claude or Codex?
Yes. ShopVirge offers a standard connection (MCP), so you can connect Claude or Codex straight to your shop, or bring your own agent. The assistant in this recording is one way to work; the same steps are available to any connected agent.
What if the assistant changes something I did not want?
ShopVirge keeps a revision history. Every change to a product, category, tag or attribute is saved as a version, including who made it and whether it came from an agent. You can go back to an earlier version, and deleted items go to a trash so they can be restored.
