Run a sale priced against the market

Celebrating an anniversary with a sale? One sentence puts every headphone on sale, priced against the market.

One sentence, four products, sale prices based on the market.

You send

“Start a 10% sale for everything”

You get

Sound familiar?

You know how you want to price the sale. Working out every price is the slow part.

A sale against the market means looking up each product on Tweakers, comparing shops, doing the sums and typing the result into every product. For four headphones that is about twenty minutes. With a full range it adds up quickly, and market prices keep moving in the meantime.

Working it out by hand

For every product, before the sale can start:

Estimated: about 20 minutes

4 products × 5 minutes looking up the market price, doing the sums and entering the sale price.

  1. 1Open each headphone’s page on Tweakers
  2. 2Find the lowest price from a regular shop, delivery included
  3. 3Work out 10% below it and round so it stays below
  4. 4Enter the result as a sale price, next to your regular price
  5. 5Check the product page in your shop

With the assistant

One sentence in the chat:

About 4 minutes of your time

1 minute to send one sentence, then 3 minutes to check the four sale prices. The assistant looks up the market prices and enters the sale prices.

“We're celebrating our 10th anniversary. Put our headphones on sale at 10% below market using Tweakers.”

Sale prices in the demo shop

The manual times are estimates. The AI assistant times are close to what you can expect in practice. As the job gets bigger, the assistant saves you more time.

You set the price

A sale that follows the market

Your regular prices stay in your shop, crossed out next to the new sale price. The assistant works out the sale price from the Tweakers price and tells you which price it used for each product. You decide whether that price suits your range and your margin.

Check these before you announce the sale

You decide which price goes on your products.

  • Is the Tweakers price for the same model and colour?
  • Does the sale price still leave you a margin?
  • Is the product in stock at the sale price?

Questions about this demo

Does it look up Tweakers live?

Yes, the assistant can look up current prices on Tweakers. This recording used a saved copy of the Tweakers prices from 23 October 2026, so you can see exactly which prices went in. The assistant states this in its answer.

Which Tweakers price does it use?

The lowest price for the exact new model and colour from a regular webshop, delivery included. Marketplace sellers and refurbished or open-box offers are left out. The assistant shows that price next to every sale price.

Is the sale really 10% below the market?

At least 10% below. Net prices are stored to the cent, so the price including VAT can end up a cent lower than the exact 10%. In the recording the Sony WH-1000XM5 came out at €233.09, one cent below its €233.10 target.

What happens to my regular prices?

They stay as they are. The sale price is stored separately and shown next to your regular price, which is crossed out.

Does it check whether the headphones are in stock?

No. The assistant says in its answer that stock is not verified, and that one price came from a cached Tweakers listing and needs a fresh check. Check stock and supplier prices yourself before you promote the sale.

Are the shop prices in the recording real?

The regular prices in the demo shop are made up for the demo. The Tweakers prices are the ones recorded on 23 October 2026.

Is the recording sped up?

Yes. Typing and storefront movement are sped up and waiting time is shortened. The request, the answer and the resulting prices are as recorded.

Where does the assistant get its facts, and can I see what it did?

In this recording the market prices come from Tweakers, and the assistant lists the price it used next to every sale price. It is told not to invent facts: if a price is missing or uncertain it says so, as it does for the cached listing in the recording. You can follow each step in the chat, and every run is logged together with the tools it used.

Do I need to know how to prompt or code?

No. You write a normal sentence, like in the recording. We connect the assistant to your shop and tune its instructions to your pricing rules, such as how far below the market you want to be.

Does my data need to be in order first?

No. It works with the products already in your shop, so there is no data project first. Your regular prices stay as they are and the sale prices are added next to them.

My team worries about mistakes, or about their jobs.

You stay in charge: right model, right benchmark, a price you can live with? The assistant takes over the looking up and the sums, not the decisions. It works as the account you are signed in with, so it can only do what that account may do. For staff who only need to look things up, there is a read-only assistant that cannot change anything.

Where do I even start?

With a few products you would like to put on sale and the discount you have in mind. Bring them to a demo and we will look at them together.

We don’t have the expertise in-house.

You don’t have to work it out alone: we look at your range with you, tune the assistant to your shop’s pricing rules, and discuss a setup that fits.

Can I use my own AI agent, or Claude or Codex?

Yes. ShopVirge offers a standard connection (MCP), so you can connect Claude or Codex straight to your shop, or bring your own agent. The assistant in this recording is one way to work; the same steps are available to any connected agent.

What if the assistant changes something I did not want?

ShopVirge keeps a revision history. Every change to a product, category, tag or attribute is saved as a version, including who made it and whether it came from an agent. You can go back to an earlier version, and deleted items go to a trash so they can be restored.

Which of your products would you put on sale this month?

Bring a few products and the sale you have in mind. We will look at it with you and discuss a setup that fits your shop.
