Add LEGO sets from their set numbers
See how five LEGO set numbers become products in the ShopVirge demo shop in one go.
One process, shown end to end: set numbers in, products out.
You send
- 42231
- 42221
- 31387
- 11385
- 11378
You get

You know the set numbers, but still have to describe the products by hand.
A set number tells you exactly what you have. Entering the title, description, images and category by hand still takes around 10 minutes per set. For these five sets, that is almost an hour of typing.
By hand
For every product, before it can go online:
Estimated: about 50 minutes
5 products × 10 minutes looking up details, entering text and adding photos.
- 1Look up the set name and theme
- 2Find a product image
- 3Write a title and description
- 4Pick a category
- 5Decide on a price
- 6Fill in the product form
With the assistant
One message in the chat:
About 6 minutes of your time
1 minute to send five set numbers in one message, then 5 minutes to check the five products. The assistant looks up the details and fills in the listings.
“I want to add 5 LEGO kits to my shop: 42231, 42221, 31387, 11385, 11378”
Created in the demo shop
The manual times are estimates. The AI assistant times are close to what you can expect in practice. As the job gets bigger, the assistant saves you more time.
One possible example for Marktplaats sellers
If you sell LEGO sets on Marktplaats, 2dehands or 2ememain, their set numbers can also help you add the same stock to your own ShopVirge catalogue. In this recording the numbers are given to the assistant, but we can also import existing listings from those platforms.
What you would check before selling
The assistant creates the product. You can then check whether everything is correct. Looks good? Then you can start selling right away.
- Are the set number and product image the right match?
- Is the set complete, and is its condition described correctly?
- Do the price and category fit your stock?
Questions about this demo
Does it import my Marktplaats or 2dehands listings?
Yes, we can set that up for your shop. In this recording the set numbers are typed into the assistant, but importing your existing Marktplaats or 2dehands listings is possible. Ask us about it in a demo.
Can you import products from our system?
Yes, we can import product data from files, such as Excel spreadsheets, or from another existing webshop. Bring an example to the demo so we can discuss what your shop needs.
Can I use this assistant with other webshops?
We can adapt the assistant to your needs. Tell us which webshop you use and what you need during a demo.
Where do the details and images come from?
The assistant looks up information for each set number through a search engine and APIs. Check that the details and images match the sets you sell.
Is the recording sped up?
Yes, the recording is sped up so it stays short. The steps and the result in the shop are as recorded.
Where does the assistant get its facts, and can I see what it did?
For LEGO it looks sets up in Rebrickable, a public LEGO database, and searches the web for what that lacks, such as the age range. It is told not to invent facts: if something is missing it asks you or leaves a placeholder. You can follow each lookup while it works, and every run is logged together with the tools it used.
Do I need to know how to prompt or code?
No. You write a normal sentence, like in the recording. The assistant is connected to your shop through a standard connection (MCP). We set that up and tune the assistant’s instructions to your shop.
Does my data need to be in order first?
No. It starts from a set number, so there is no data project first. Moving from another shop? A separate migration assistant can read a public Shopify or WooCommerce shop and copy product texts and prices into ShopVirge.
My team worries about mistakes, or about their jobs.
The user stays in charge: right image, complete set, right price? The assistant takes over the typing, not the decisions. It works as the account you are signed in with, so it can only do what that account may do. For staff who only need to look things up, there is a read-only assistant that cannot change anything.
Where do I even start?
With a list of set or item numbers you already have. Bring it to a demo and we’ll look at it together.
We don’t have the expertise in-house.
You don’t have to work it out alone: we look at your list with you, tune the assistant to your shop’s wording and rules, and discuss a setup that fits.
Can I use my own AI agent, or Claude or Codex?
Yes. ShopVirge offers a standard connection (MCP), so you can connect Claude or Codex straight to your shop, or bring your own agent. The assistant in this recording is one way to work; the same steps are available to any connected agent.
What if the assistant changes something I did not want?
ShopVirge keeps a revision history. Every change to a product, category, tag or attribute is saved as a version, including who made it and whether it came from an agent. You can go back to an earlier version, and deleted items go to a trash so they can be restored.
How many sets are waiting to be listed right now?
Bring a list of set or item numbers you sell. We will look at them with you and discuss a setup that fits your shop.
